Overview
Alex Messner is an associate in O’Hagan Meyer’s Chicago office. Alex focuses her practice in the area of professional liability, construction litigation, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She is also a member of the firm’s Architects and Engineers team.
With experience in both defense and plaintiff-side litigation, Alex is an experienced litigation attorney with experience in all phases of litigation. She began her career at insurance defense firms representing motor carriers, commercial drivers, transportation brokers, construction companies, landowners, small-business owners, and major corporations. Alex then worked on the plaintiff’s side, where she worked on personal injury and product liability cases.
Alex graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2019, where she earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the top grade in Trial Advocacy and Juvenile Justice.
