Throughout law school, Courtney participated as an instructor in the Kids’ Court School, which helps educate children about the court process through an evidence-based curriculum. The goal of the program is to minimize the potentially traumatic effects of the courtroom on children.
Courtney further served as a student attorney in the Survivor’s Representation and Advocacy clinic, where she represented victims of domestic violence pro bono and helped them obtain protection orders against their abusers.
