Dale Wolf is an associate in our Richmond, Virginia office whose practice spans a wide range of matters, with a primary focus on business litigation. His work is strengthened by his background in political communications, where he served as both a director and a consultant.

Dale graduated from the Appalachian School of Law, where he attended on a full academic scholarship and cost‑of‑living stipend. During law school, he served on the executive board of the Appalachian Journal of Law as Articles Editor and Notes & Comments Editor. Before joining the firm as an attorney, Dale worked as a law clerk for O’Hagan Meyer. He earned his undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature from the College of William & Mary.

During law school, Dale interned with Koonz McKenney Johnson & DePaolis, Miles & Stockbridge, and the chief counsel for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine.

  • Represented a family farm in an action against property repossession.
  • Represented a contractor in a declaratory judgment action, alleging an agreement to arbitrate was fraudulently induced.
  • Represented a family-owned Virginia-based company in a $10,000,000+ action for conspiracy, fraud, and breach of contract.
  • Represented plaintiff in $10,000,000+ shareholder’s derivative lawsuit alleging business conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud.
  • Represented homeowner in $5,000,000+ suit for fraud, conspiracy, breach of contract, and violation of the Virginia Consumer Protection Act.
  • Represented defendant for intricate multimillion-dollar financial case centering on trusts and fiduciary duty.
  • Represented plaintiff in multimillion-dollar lawsuit for medical malpractice and defamation.
  • Represented defendant and helped secure dismissal of multimillion-dollar action involving fraudulent charges of business and common law conspiracy.
  • Represented plaintiff against municipality in highly publicized lawsuit involving the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.

Dale has volunteered for political campaigns off and on since childhood. His continued interest is influenced by his eleven cycles of professional experience in that field.

As an attorney, Dale enjoys pro bono matters. He believes they represent a chance to help close the distance between law and justice.
