Overview

Karina Vals is an associate attorney in the Labor and Employment Litigation Group at O’Hagan Meyer in Sacramento, California. Karina represents clients in a variety of employment matters including wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation claims.

Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, Karina practiced at well-respected employment defense firms, where she represented employers of varying sizes across a diverse range of industries. Her interest in employment law began before law school, when she studied human resources management and worked in recruiting.

During law school, Karina served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Evette D. Pennypacker of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County. She also received the Dean’s Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership and contributions to multiple student organizations.
