Overview

Maria Khusainova is an associate in O’Hagan Meyer’s San Francisco office and a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer in California. She brings more than a decade of legal experience in litigation, personal injury matters, regulatory compliance, and commercial matters.

Maria has worked with major insurance carriers, corporate clients, business entities, and individuals in connection with California civil litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes matters involving automobile accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, slip-and-fall, dog bite, mass tort, general liability, and insurance-related claims. She has supported matters in California state and federal courts through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial support.

Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Maria gained California litigation experience and brings an international legal background involving commercial litigation, corporate disputes, bankruptcy matters, government contracts and procurement, regulatory compliance, and representation of public-sector entities and businesses.

Maria earned her LL.M. from Northeastern University School of Law and holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Law and International Business Activity Legal Support from Bashkir State University in Ufa, Russia. She also completed doctoral studies in Law (Theory of State and Law) at Bashkir State University. She is fluent in English and Russian.
