Overview

Mike Barnsback guides employers through all aspects of human resources and employment law. He defends employers faced with DOL wage/hour audits and FLSA individual and collective action overtime claims. He also brings proven skill to representing employers before the EEOC and state/local administrative agencies, as well as more than two decades of courtroom experience litigating employment-related disputes and state and federal lawsuits.

Moreover, Mike represents employers regarding data privacy and security issues involving both internal (employee) and external threats. He counsels employers and their HR professionals on issues concerning internal monitoring and data breach response obligations and procedures. Notably, Mike works extensively with federal government contractors and employers in the healthcare and financial services industries, among many others.

Mike frequently conducts seminars and webinars on employment law and data security and privacy matters. In addition, he frequently lectures on and assists employers with disability accommodation and leave under the ADA and FMLA.
