Throughout law school, Raymond participated first as an instructor and then as a courtroom supervisor in the Kids’ Court School, which serves to educate children who will be testifying at a trial about the court process through an evidence-based curriculum. The goal of the program is to minimize the potentially traumatic effects of the courtroom on children and to allow the children to testify, regardless of what their testimony is, to the best of their ability.
Raymond also served as a student attorney in the Immigration Clinic, where he represented detained individuals pro bono to assist them with their deportation defense, from seeking bond all the way to asylum applications. As part of the process, Raymond appeared and argued in both the Immigration and Federal District Court of Nevada as part of his representation of his clients at the time.
